Creation of a social media charter for the German Embassy in France

Graphéine assisted the German Embassy in France in designing a graphic system for its social media channels, with the aim of harmonizing its digital communications while complying with the German federal government’s guidelines. The project sought to create a coherent, modular system that could be easily adopted by teams and adapted to different formats and everyday uses.

The system includes banners for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts, profile images based on Franco-German relations, and a series of pictograms for Instagram stories. Thematic publication templates were also developed to structure editorial content, highlighting figures, quotes, sector-specific information (climate, economy, politics, culture, history), and institutional messages. In addition, motifs illustrating Franco-German friendship (hearts, puzzles, hybrid Paris-Berlin skylines) have been designed in static and animated versions to enrich communication.

This project reflects the desire to reconcile institutional rigor and proximity in the service of contemporary and engaging communication between Germany and France.
