“ReSources” is the name of the urban renewal project for the Sources district in Écully. The aim is to turn this area into an attractive, open and sustainable hub at the heart of the Lyon metropolis. The project is led by Alliade Habitat.
This district, historically characterized by a high proportion of social housing and relative isolation, is entering a phase of profound change. The new visual identity will support this change in perception by highlighting the site’s assets (7 hectares of greenery, accessibility, strategic location) while embodying its new orientations.
It must embody the values of social, functional and generational diversity, highlighting the arrival of new services, the diversification of housing and the opening up of the site to new publics. It must also illustrate the project’s commitment to the environment: energy efficiency, soft mobility, biodiversity, water management, etc.
At the same time, the visual identity must inspire confidence, create a sense of belonging and encourage the support of current and future residents. It plays a key role in communicating the project to both institutional partners and users. Finally, it must be conceived as a tool for dialogue and consultation, in the service of a shared project, co-constructed with residents, local players and public decision-makers.
This visual identity is much more than a graphic design: it is a vector of transformation, inclusion and attractiveness for this district.
