For the third edition of La Cour des Métiers d’Art (The Art & Craft Court), the Yvelines Chamber of Trades and Crafts commissioned Graphéine to evolve and deploy the event’s visual identity. Held at the Versailles Convention Center, this exhibition dedicated to fine craftsmanship brought together more than 70 exceptional artisans showcasing both contemporary and heritage expertise across furniture, ceramics, jewelry, lighting, fashion, and decorative arts.
The challenge was to strengthen the exhibition’s appeal to a wider audience while reinforcing its premium positioning among architects, interior designers, decorators, and the media. Graphéine developed a more immersive and evocative visual universe, designed to reflect both artisanal excellence and the beauty of materials and craftsmanship. The graphic composition features a series of geometric and sculptural forms inspired by art and design objects. Volumes, mineral textures, and carefully balanced arrangements create a visual language that is simultaneously contemporary, refined, and welcoming, echoing the diversity of the featured crafts.
At the center of the composition, a diamond-shaped frame acts as a typographic breathing space, structuring the communication system while subtly reinforcing the event’s identity. The color palette combines mineral tones, natural wood hues, and turquoise accents to balance elegance, modernity, and visibility. Deployed consistently across all print and digital media (posters, signage, social media, invitations, and large-format applications) the identity creates a strong and instantly recognizable presence. Through this artistic direction, the exhibition establishes itself as a premium yet accessible contemporary event, reflecting the creativity and excellence of the artisans it celebrates.
